The room was nice and clean.
When we arrived the hotel was closed. A number was posted for us on the window when we rang we were told it would be some hours before it was open. We had bags etc and had to drag them around with us until the hotel opened.
We liked the fact that there was plenyy of hot water and a bath. The room was very clean and even the pillows were fresh.
We found the bed was too hard, and no tea or coffee making faclities in the rrom.
This hotel is situated in the centre of the old town, just one road back from the sea front. The owner was very friendly, and the rooms, whilst very modest were very clean, and had all the essentials you'd need. The restaurant was exceptionally good, frequented by the locals, as opposed to the tourist trap restaurants on the sea front. All seafood was fresh and good value - highly recommended. Breakfast was sufficient too. Nice place for a short stop over.
The price. it was the cheapest available hotel with private facilities, and easy to park outside in the street. Everything inside was OK, but not more than OK. Staff were friendly.
Given that it is in a ferry port, I thought it odd that breakfast could not be served in time to catch the morning ferry. 7am breakfast does not seem an unusually early request. There are other hotels available which are equally convenient, I would probably try a different one next time.
Great location - restaurant looked lovely but was not open (Sunday) - also as we had to leave at 7.30 we were not able to have breakfast.
It was convenient for a one night stay and early departure for the ferry in the morning.
Not a very welcoming place - it has seen better days
The central location of the hotel
The only member of staff we met was abrupt, bordering on rude, and unhelpful.
This hotel was in a execellent location and the town was a great find. We were two couples and loved our stay. Staff were very friendly and we found car parking behind the hotel. Good location for leaving on the ferry.
Convenience to port and town of Roscoff. Friendly and helpful staff. Good reasonably priced breakfast.
Disabled husband found great difficulty in going up and down stairs. He would have been greatly assisted in better positioned banister rails
Its central location was probably its best feature for us. The restaurant looked excellent but we didn't try it. The owner was friendly.
It was only by chance that we found the out-of-the-way note by a phone, telling us to ring for breakfast - which was served in the restaurant and not in the room where the note & phone were; so, a bit confusing! (Restaurant locked up when we first went looking.)
the fact that it was easy to get too
was greated by person who didnt speak a word of english - very awkward but not really a complaint. the room was a double room but was two beds pushed together.
The historic nature of the building and the individuality of the rooms
The bed was not particularly comfortable.
A very friendly greeting on our arrival. Unfortunately we could not try the restaurant - it is closed on Mondays. At breakfast, we were treated to excellent home-made jams and honeys - a pleasant change from the usual bland pots of jelly.
We loved the breakfasts and the evening meal was to die for.
The breakfast was poor value, very little on offer
